HACCP CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE

 

The United States Food and Drug Administration had developed, with support of United States seafood industry members, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) regulations.  The regulations pertain to all domestic and imported seafood products produced and/or distributed within the United States.

 

This document certifies that Sea-Lect Wholesale Seafood, Inc. is operating under the federally mandated HACCP regulations. Sea-Lect Wholesale Seafood, Inc. has been validated by successfully passing a U.S. Food and Drug Administration HACCP audit.

 

Sea-Lect Wholesale Seafood, Inc. has conducted a hazard analysis for all its seafood items, constructed a HACCP plan, written and implemented Standard Sanitation Operation Procedures, and follows the Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

 

As you are aware, in accordance with the Public Health Security and Bio-Terrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002, all domestic and foreign facilities that manufacture, process, pack, or hold food for human or animal consumption in the United States, are required to register with the Food & Drug Administration by December 12, 2003.  Our registration number is:         19810376420
